This is freely available for download at the main website TalentedTester.com. Bear in mind that you will have a lot of similar structured questions in the actual exam, multiple choice to try and catch you off guard, so it&#8217;s a case of just understanding the criteria and obviously having a good understanding of why it is correct.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Which of the following is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span> included in defect management?<\/h2>\n<h3>[Taken from the ISTQB Foundation Sample Paper 2, Question 7]<\/h3>\n<p>Notice I said, &#8220;Not included.&#8221; This is another thing that can catch people off guard is when they use stuff like, &#8220;Not.&#8221; So it&#8217;s the complete opposite, and you may quickly scan through the question and the paper, and then just overlook that you&#8217;re actually looking at what is not included.\u00a0So let&#8217;s have a quick look at these:<\/p>\n<p>a) Reporting on defects.<br \/>\nb) Triage the defects with the development team.<br \/>\nc) Changing the status of the defects.<br \/>\nd) White box testing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-160\" src=\"http:\/\/talentedtester.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/fly-swatter-640x427-8246879758_746fb6d43f_z.jpg\" alt=\"Defect Management\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"http:\/\/talentedtester.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/fly-swatter-640x427-8246879758_746fb6d43f_z.jpg 640w, http:\/\/talentedtester.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/fly-swatter-640x427-8246879758_746fb6d43f_z-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/talentedtester.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/fly-swatter-640x427-8246879758_746fb6d43f_z-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Image by: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/marcdalio\/8246879758\/\">marcdalio<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So have a look at these four answers. Think of, logically, which would be the correct one, make a selection, and, in just a few seconds, I&#8217;ll reveal the correct answer for your knowledge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The correct answer is D<\/strong>, white box testing is not included in defect management. Remember the question is, &#8220;What&#8217;s not included?&#8221; So this is obviously the one that we need to isolate.<\/p>\n<h2>Which person typically uses static analysis tools?<\/h2>\n<h3>[Taken from the ISTQB Foundation Sample Paper 2, Question 15]<\/h3>\n<p>a) Project managers.<br \/>\nb) System testers.<br \/>\nc) Programmers.<br \/>\nd) Business analysts.<\/p>\n<p>Have a think about these four potential answers. Think logically which will be the correct one, and then I&#8217;m going to reveal the answer shortly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The correct answer is C<\/strong>, programmers. Which person typically uses static analysis tools? And for this the answer is programmers. So hopefully you&#8217;ve got this question correct. And hopefully all of the other three questions have made since.
